The Inverness Animal Clinic was founded in 1986 by Dr. John Strickland to bring compassionate veterinary care to the people of Birmingham. Over the last 30+ years, Dr. Strickland has fulfilled his mission each day by helping clients provide the best standard of care for their furry family members. An old-school doctor, he spends as much time as is needed in the exam room with clients (no 10-minute in-and-out appointments here!) and answering their questions, both during and after hours. His commitment to care is unparalleled, often spending as many as 10 hours at work each day. His love for the profession is unwavering, and no matter how long he is at work, it is clear how much kindness he has for his clients and patients.
